A SUV driver died after his vehicle crashed into a city bus in midtown, sending pedestrians near Bryant Park running for cover, authorities said.

The male driver suffered a heart attack before slamming into an MTA bus and flipping over at 6th Ave. and W. 41st St., according to police.

The black SUV nearly jumped the curb at about 3:55 p.m. before finally coming to a stop just feet from the popular park's edge where shocked pedestrians packed the area to get a look.
