St. Louis, MORyan D. Parrett, 17, was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Truck westbound on Highway F at 10:48 p.m. when he failed to make a curve. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign and concrete culvert. The vehicle then struck a tree, causing the truck to overturn and strike a second tree. Parrett was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kansas City, MOIn the morning, a 15-year-old boy who ran a stop sign didn't stop for an officer, and instead led police on wild chase, damaging property such as fences and mailboxes along the way. Eventually the teen crashed into a tree and the vehicle caught fire, leaving the police who were chasing him to rescue him from the vehicle. As of now, the teen is still in the hospital, and charges against him are pending.

St. Louis, MOOne person is dead after two vehicles collided on Highway 47, west of Linns Mill Road early Sunday morning. Police say the driver of one of the vehicles has been identified as 17-year-old Gary French who was driving eastbound on Highway 47 when he collided with a school bus driving west. French was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the school bus, 27-year-old John Detjen, suffered minor injuries.

St. Louis, MOOne person was killed, another hospitalized following a single vehicle accident in north St. Louis City.
Authorities say a teen driver was reportedly joy riding when he lost control on ice and crashed at North Euclid and Calvin Avenues at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses at the scene said the driver was traveling at a high-rate of speed before he lost control and struck the tree.
The 15-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The male teenage passenger was rushed to the hospital in critical, unstable condition.
