Memphis, TNA Trumann woman died Sunday when her car crashed into a culvert off of U.S. 63 near Craighead County Road 140. Morgan Stephanie Smith, 29, was the driver of a 2005 Dodge heading northbound on U.S. 63 when she swerved off the road. She was taken to St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, where she was pronounced deceased. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Saturday, March 28, 2015Lindsey Watson, 31, was traveling northbound on U.S. 63 when a 1998 GMC heading southbound crossed the centerline and collided with her at 1:43 a.m. Saturday near Pine Bluff. Watson was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The driver of the GMC, Jamon Brewster, 25, of Clarendon, sustained injuries and was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
