A driver was killed when his vehicle struck one of the homes at the Hillsboro Condominiums on Riviera Grove. The victim was ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured. Check back for updates as details emerge.

Luis Esparza-Montelongo, 21, Jose Ramirez-Martinez, 23, and Armando Rendon, 24, all dead after pickup rollover on Spring Creek Road in Montrose, CO; DUI is suspected

Esparza-Montelongo was driving a pickup truck west on Spring Creek Road at about 2:00am, and was speeding. He then lost control and departed the roadway, causing the pickup to roll several times. Two passengers in the vehicle, Rendon and Ramirez-Martinez, along with Esparza-Montelongo were ejected and killed, and none of them were wearing seat belts. It is suspected that alcohol played a role in this crash, and toxicology tests are underway.
