Joshua Patterson, 27, of Mound, Minnesota, ran a red light and collided with another vehicle Thursday afternoon at the intersection of 35th Street East and 2nd Avenue South. The driver of the other car was wearing a seatbelt. That driver sustained injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. Patterson’s SUV rolled over, and he was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing his seatbelt. Patterson was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
