A bicyclist from South Salt Lake was riding his bike on 900 West when a car came up from behind him and hit him. The 50-year-old man struck the windsheild and suffered critical head, neck, and back injuries. His name has not yet been released. The driver of the car, 36-year-old Peter Vance Wilcox, had a blood-alcohol content of nearly three times the legal limit.
