Seattle-Tacoma, WAThe accident was reported around 4:30 a.m. on the OK Mill Road, southeast of Lake Stevens. The road was closed between Creswell Road and Price Road while detectives with the Snohomish County Collision Investigation Unit were examining the scene. Investigators believe speed contributed to the accident, Ireton said. The man was thrown from the car during the crash and died at the scene.

Seattle-Tacoma, WANorth Kitsap Fire and Rescue crews were called to crash on Miller Bay Road near the intersection of Orseth Road at 4:38 a.m. Monday. Crews found a car that had crashed into a power pole. One person was dead at the scene and a second person was injured. Firefighters attempted to get an Airlift Northwest helicopter to transport the survivor of the crash, but weather conditions prevented the chopper from flying. The victim was transported to Harrison Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Seattle-Tacoma, WAThree people hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Parkland Saturday were still being treated but doing better Sunday. The accident happened at 6:30 p.m. when a 1999 Lexus hit the group as they crossed Pacific Avenue at 134th Street South. A 54-year-old woman and two boys, ages 15 and 16, were taken to St. Joseph Medical Center. The woman and 15 year old are from Tacoma, and the other boy is from Spanaway.
