11-year-old boy killed, two others injured, transported to hospital, after their vehicle leaves the Cherry Street Extension roadway in Pendleton, and crashes into a tree.

State troopers said an 11-year-old boy was killed in a deadly wreck near Pendleton.

According to the highway patrol, the wreck happened at 4:35 p.m. Saturday on Cherry Street Extension near Danehower Road.

State troopers said a vehicle traveling south on Cherry Street Extension lost control, went off the left side of the road and crashed into a tree.

Two other people in the vehicle were taken to AnMed Hospital. There is no update on their condition.
