On Friday, March 20 in Everett, a 74-year-old driver was stopped at a crosswalk in the 2400 block of Colby Avenue at around 7:50 p.m. to let pedestrians cross. As he began to drive again, a 5-year-old boy exited a parked car and ran across the street in front of him, where he was struck. The boy was brought to Providence Medical Center in serious condition, and later transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he died on Sunday. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
