Jacksonville, FL58-year-old Samuel B. Aleshire of Interlachen died Tuesday after colliding with a car on his motorcycle. The incident occured in Putnam County, Florida around 6:00 p.m. on Country Road 315 at Pepper Place. Ambur Carter, who was driving in front of Aleshire in a black Mazda, made a U-turn at the intersection, causing Aleshire to hit the car and be thrown from his motorcycle. Aleshire died at the scene. Both Ambur Carter and her passenger, Michael Smith, of St. Augustine, were taken to UF Health-Gainesville to treat minor injuries.
