Donald Brocak was walking across East State Street near Victor Avenue at around 6:12 p.m. when he was struck by an SUV driven by Carmen Rodriguez of Hamilton. Rodriguez left the scene, but turned herself in several days later. She was taken into custody and charged with assault by auto, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving serious bodily harm, and several motor vehicle offenses.
