The identity of the driver involved in a fiery single car crash on Wednesday in Elk Grove has been identified. According to the Sacramento Coroner’s website, 25-year-old Michael Thomas Lyttle was the driver of the car that slammed into a tree on Elk Grove Blvd Wednesday night. According to the Elk Grove Police Department, at approximately 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, a Jeep Wrangler driven by Lyttle, slammed into a tree causing the Wrangler to burst into flames, killing Lyttle. The fiery accident happened near the intersection of Elk Grove Blvd and Harbor Point Drive.
