Three individuals have died after a Sunday morning wreck in San Jose. The accident occured at approximately 2 a.m. on Highway 101 southbound close to the exit to Interstate 280. Police say the car was traveling south near the Interstate 280 off-ramp when it struck an embankment between the freeway and the off-ramp, hit two trees, spun around, and finally burst into flames. This resulted in the trees surrounding the roadway catching fire. Investigators continue to determine the cause of the accident.
