It was early in the morning when an 18-wheeled semi-truck containing 2-year-old Whisenant, who was completely unrestrained in the vehicle, somehow crashed on Highway 13 and rolled onto its side. Whisenant was killed in the rollover, but two adults survived and have been taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. The cause of this accident remains under investigation.
