A minor was driving a Jeep east on Highway 49 when he began to turn into the Kum & Go store. He realized he was about to turn into the wrong lane and hesitated, leaving him in the middle of traffic. A car heading the other direction struck the Jeep head-on. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as Jessica Flores, and she was taken to a hospital with facial injuries. No word on if the minor was injured.

A truck hauling cotton seed was traveling on Highway 49 when the vehicle overturned on a curve, spilling out its load. A passenger in the truck sustained minor injuries, but no one else was hurt. Traffic is slow in the area and officials say it may take 2 or 3 hours to clear the site.

According to Arkansas State trooper Aaron Morphis, Christina Lancaster, 29, of Paragould, was driving a maroon Chevy Trailblazer south on Highway 49 when the incident occurred. She crossed the center line then hit an oncoming black Dodge Caravan driven by 66 year-old Joseph Mangrum. Lancaster and two other youths in her vehicle were injured, one of which was airlifted to the LeBonheur Hospital in Memphis. Mangrum was killed in the crash. What personal injury victims need to know:
