A hit-and-run collision killed a tow truck driver, identified as Michael C. Bower, 29,  on Highway 50 near Jefferson Boulevard in Sacramento. Authorities are searching for a commercial truck that may have hit the tow truck driver, who was standing outside of his truck on westbound Highway 50. A CHP officer found the body of the tow truck driver at the crash site at approximately 9 p.m, after the tow truck had apparently become disabled and the driver had stepped out to inspect it.
