The Santa Monica Firefighters Association has established a fund for the family of a Las Vegas child who died in a car accident Friday.

The crash happened in the McClure tunnel along I-10, west of Los Angeles. A flatbed truck, dump truck and a minivan that was carrying the child and six others were involved in the crash.

Multiple news agencies have identified the child as 2-year-old Noah Looney of Las Vegas.

A crash involving two big rigs snarled early morning traffic on the eastbound 10 Freeway through Pomona on Tuesday.

The crash occurred shortly after 2 a.m. just west of North White Avenue. All eastbound lanes were initially shut down, but one lane was reopened at approximately 5 a.m., letting traffic squeeze through. Two more lanes were reopened about 30 minutes later, and the remaining lanes were reopened shortly before 7 a.m.

A tour bus heading back from a Southern California casino crashed on a freeway east of Los Angeles early Monday, injuring 13 people, authorities said.

The bus went off the shoulder of an Interstate 10 off-ramp in Baldwin Park shortly after 4:30 a.m., a California Highway Patrol Officer said.

The bus wheels went into a small drainage ditch and it came to rest against a fence and light pole but remain upright.

Eleven people received minor injuries and two received moderate injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
