The driver who was hit was transported to Tampa General Hospital, and is now in stable condition. Edgerton disturbingly claims that he had intended to take as many lives as he could, including his own, in the crash. He has been arrested with two counts each of grand theft auto & battery on a law enforcement officer and one count each of resisting arrest with violence and aggravated fleeing.
