A woman has died at University Hospital following a roll-over crash on I-71 Southbound near the Watterson Expressway.
45-year-old Robin Brickey was rushed to the hospital after she was ejected from her car. Police say she over corrected for some reason and lost control of the car, and that she was not wearing a seat belt.
A man in the car with her was also sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say he was wearing a seat belt and may have been under the influence of alcohol.
Police reopened I-71 North after a wreck occurred at the 2 mile marker just after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes near Zorn Avenue. Police shut down the interstate while they worked the accident.
