A wrong-way driver suspected of driving impaired northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 struck a car, killing a passenger and sending the driver and a child to the hospital early Tuesday morning. The driver of the wrong-way white 2003 VW Jetta was also taken to Salem Memorial Hospital. The child was in the back of the black BMW 320 and has critical injuries. Alcohol was being investigated as a factor in the 2:50 a.m. crash where Audrey Bliven, 49, of Salem was arrested after being treated at the hospital.
