15 year-old bicyclist struck by car driven by Stephanie Hammer, 33, on Lafayette St. in Mandeville, LA

A 15-year-old boy was critically injured after being hit by an SUV while biking Saturday afternoon in Mandeville. The boy was flown to University Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. Around 2 p.m., Stephanie Hammer, 33, of Madisonville, traveled East on Monroe Street when the boy, traveling North on Lafayette Street, crossed her path and was struck.
