22-year-old Gabriel Snyder was driving a car on Highway 2 with Lydia Snyder as a passenger. James Bell, 43, was driving his pickup in the opposite direction when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck Snyder's vehicle head-on. Lydia Snyder died at the scene, and Gabriel Snyder was hospitalized with serious injuries. Bell was allegedly impaired at the time of the accident and arrested. A 5-year-old passenger in Bell's car was hospitalized with serious injuries.
