A 17-year-old girl and a passenger were traveling on Northeast Minnehaha Street when the driver took her eyes off the road to look at written directions and crashed into a power pole. THe car caught fire, and the fire spread to the pole and nearby vegetation. Both were able to escape the car before it caught fire, and neither sustained serious injuries. Damage to the pole caused a power outage in the area.
