Stevens County Jail
The purpose of the Stevens County Jail is to provide a safe place of incarceration for people arrested by law enforcement or sentenced to commitment by the court. We will strive to provide this service in the most humane and efficient manner possible, taking into consideration our obligation to public safety and the inmate's Constitutional Rights.
Stevens County Public Works Department
The overall function of the Department of Public Works is to provide services primarily in the unincorporated portions of Stevens County. These services include the maintenance, design and construction of the County road system, and the operation of solid waste facilities, which include the landfill and various transfer stations.
Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney
The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office will perform its constitutional and statutory duties by serving as a highly skilled and innovative legal team advocating for public safety, seeking justice in criminal cases for victims and those accused, representing the interests of children, and providing effective legal services to Thurston County government.
