Yakima County Department of Corrections
The Mission of the Yakima County Department of Corrections is to actively contribute to the safety and wellness of the citizens of Yakima County by providing a safe, secure and humane correctional environment.
Yakima County Superior Court
Yakima County Superior Court has 8 full time elected Judges as authorized by law. The Court has 3 full-time appointed court commissioners to handle additional workload at multiple court facilities. The Court Administrator’s Office handles judicial scheduling and assignments and the budget matters of the Court. The County Clerk’s Office is separate from Superior Court and handles court fines, and restitution, court records and data dissemination, and provides clerk staff for the Superior Court courtrooms.
Yakima County District Court
Washington State district and municipal courts may consider civil and criminal matters related to misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic, non-traffic, and parking infractions, domestic violence protection orders, civil actions of $75,000 or less, and small claims up to $5,000.

Immigration Advocates Network Pro Bono Resource Center provides information on pro bono (free) attorneys representing low-income immigrants.
Comprehensive Mental Health
Since the 1970’s Comprehensive has been providing services to children, adults, and families throughout Eastern Washington. This private nonprofit organization offers a full range of behavioral health and substance use treatment services, with special programs for veterans, victims of crime, parent education, and employee assistance programs.
More than 700 highly trained and qualified professional staff provide behavioral healthcare services to over 20,000 individuals each year.
Yakima County Transportation and Roads Information
The Transportation Services Division is responsible for 1657 Miles of Roads, 22 Miles of Railroad, 310 Bridges, 865 Culverts, and 11 Miles of Trail Corridor.
