Spokane, WAAn Omak man faces a vehicular homicide charge after an ATV accident Saturday night that left his passenger dead. The victim, Charity R. Rumbolz, 24, of Omak, was found dead early today in Conconully Lake. Cain M. Bivins, 33, was booked into the Okanogan County Jail. Alcohol was a factor in the accident. Bivins was driving the ATV on Sinlahekin Road along the upper reservoir of Conconully Lake when he lost control on a sharp corner. The ATV went over a 100-foot cliff and into the water. Bivins was ejected but Rumbolz, who was wearing a seat belt, sunk with the ATV in about 30 feet of water.

Milwaukee, WIA missing snowmobiler was found dead after he apparently crashed on an ice-covered lake in Walworth County over the weekend.
Searchers were called to Lake Delavan around 8 a.m. Sunday to look for the 51-year-old man who had been missing about 12 hours.
Investigators said the man's family found his snowmobile out on the frozen lake Sunday morning and called police.

Portland, ORA driver, whose vehicle veered off the road and plunged through brambles into a creek front first, had to be extricated in a tricky emergency operation.
The car dove into the creek in the 6700 block of 35th Avenue Northeast, north of Keizer, about 10:30 a.m. Fire crews were called to the scene to rescue the driver, who was trapped in the vehicle.
Before they could get him out of the car, they had to clear the tangle of brush from the hillside. Crews used ladders to climb down to the car. Within 10 minutes, emergency personnel got him out.

Philadelphia, PAPolice say a Clayton man was drunk and speeding when he lost control of his car and crashed into a retention pond in New Castle, Delaware.
The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Friday. New Castle County police say the driver, 41-year-old Robert Blisard, hit the rear bumper of another vehicle, causing him to lose control of his car and crash into the pond located off the east bound lanes of Commons Boulevard near Reads Way.
The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger in Blisard’s car were treated for minor injuries.
