Adam Lincoln was driving on Hillside Drive at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle, it left the roadway, and crashed into a tree. One passenger died and another seriously injured. Lincoln's blood-alcohol level was found to be more than twice the legal limit. He was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison for second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, second degree-assault, operating under the influence, traveling unreasonably fast and failure to maintain the proper lane.

An accident claimed the life of a 51-year-old woman at approximately 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the Hebron section of Carroll County. Mary Ellen Keller was driving her moped on Hebron Road when she ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a concrete wall about .8 of a mile north of Creekview Drive. The collision ejected Keller from the moped, killing her. According to a Trooper who investigated the accident, there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol at the scene.

Authorities say a man has died following a weekend snowmobile crash in Michigan's northern Lower Peninsula. 31-year-old Jeffery D. Wright died Saturday after the crash in Wexford County's Clam Lake Township. Investigators say he lost control, and went off a trail and down an embankment before hitting trees. The crash happened about 35 miles southeast of Traverse City. Wright is identified as being from Vicksburg, southeast of Kalamazoo.

Milwaukee police said a 16-year-old boy is dead after a crash early Thursday. The crash happened around 1:20 a.m. near North 33rd Street and Capitol Drive. Police said the 2004 Jeep he was in was traveling east on Capitol Drive when it left the roadway and struck a tree in the median. Police said they are trying to determine whether he was driving or there were other people in the SUV that left the scene. The Jeep was reported stolen on Jan. 14.

A teenage girl died and another was injured in a high-speed wreck on an isolated street near the Port of Oakland early Friday morning, an area known for illegal street racing. Police officers responding to reports of an accident just after midnight on the 500 block of Maritime Street found that a vehicle had left the roadway and collided with a pole, officials said. The girls in the vehicle, both 17-year-olds from outside Oakland, were taken to a hospital, where the driver, who has been identified as Kaitlyn Benson, was later pronounced dead.

One person was killed and three people were injured early Wednesday morning in a Burien crash. The collision happened at the intersection of 112th and 12th Avenue before 3 a.m when a vehicle crashed into a tree. There were three men and one woman, believed to be in their 20s, in the vehicle. One person died at the scene and the three others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Deputies believe speed and fog were factors in the crash and it is unknown if alcohol was involved.

Emergency workers in Robertson County can't believe a man walked away from a terrible accident without being seriously hurt. Police say Christopher Burnette's vehicle hit a guardrail on Tom Austin Highway in Springfield and then rolled multiple times, all the way down to the bottom of a 50-foot ravine just after midnight Wednesday. Burnette, who had a broken arm but no serious injuries, was able to walk back up to the highway and wait for help. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.

Police in the Town of Hamburg are investigating a deadly car accident early Wednesday morning. Police say around 4:55 a.m. a vehicle was traveling east on Lakeshore Road when it went off the roadway. The car hit a tree and rolled over onto it's roof. The driver, 58-year-old Robert Voelker, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are continuing their investigation. They say alcohol doesn't appear to be a factor.

A man has died after he lost control of his car in Greenville County Wednesday morning, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers. The wreck happened at 4:45 a.m. on Fork Shoals Road near McKelvey Road, troopers said. The Greenville County coroner identified the man as 27-year-old Aaron Robert Carlberg of Simpsonville. The coroner said Carlberg was not wearing his seat belt when his car left the roadway and went up an embankment before hitting several trees. The vehicle overturned and Carlberg was partially ejected.

A mother has been charged with driving under the influence after her two young children were killed in a car crash, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol. Troopers said Melissa Patton, 32, is charged with two counts of felony driving under the influence and driving under suspension. According to troopers, Patton was driving a car at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday on Wells Highway when the car traveled off the road, hit a church sign and overturned.
