Kansas City, MOWestwood police are looking for a thief who up crashed a stolen car Wednesday afternoon.
The suspect wrecked out the vehicle on the 5100 block of Mission Road and ran away.
People who live nearby are being careful with the knowledge that the thief could be hiding out somewhere in the area.
On Wednesday night, police drove around the neighborhood shining their spotlight at houses looking for the suspect.
