An Arvada Police officer was travelling north on Sheridan Boulevard with lights and sirens on, and stopped at an intersection at 72nd Avenue. A teen driver was confused and drove through the green light, hitting the officer. The driver and the officer both sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital.
