Founded in 1899, the 2,700+ member State Bar Association of North Dakota is the official statewide organization of lawyers and the oldest unified state bar association in the nation. The mission of the State Bar Association is to promote justice and to serve the lawyers and the people of North Dakota.

The mission of NDAJ is to insure that all people can obtain justice in the courtrooms of North Dakota and the United States through the dedication, education and professional excellence of its members. The North Dakota Association for Justice promotes the cause of those damaged in person, property, or human rights, and defends the right to trial by jury and other rights guaranteed by our laws and Constitutions.

OSBA-Ohio State Bar Association
The Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), founded in 1880, is a voluntary professional association open to any person who has been admitted to the practice of law. Law school students, paralegal students and paralegals sponsored by an OSBA attorney member are eligible for membership in the OSBA as associate members.
The OSBA represents more than 22,000 Ohio lawyers and judges, nearly 64 percent of Ohio law practitioners. Total membership is more than 29,000, which includes paralegals and student associate members.
