Terre Haute, INA father and his adult son were killed in a single vehicle collision in Vermillion County on Saturday night at the Brouilettes Creek Bridge on State Road 163, near Blanford. A pickup truck carrying 56-year-old Dennis R. Church and his 24-year-old son Dennis R. Church Jr., both of Clinton, exited the road, struck a guardrail, and hit an abutment and an overhead bridge. Both men were ejected from the vehicle. Church was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Church Jr. was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton, where he later died.
