John Walters, 55, was driving his 2006 Nissan TItan pickup on State Route 410 near Naches, Washington when he left the road and rolled over. According to reports by investigators, the man suffered a heart attack prior to the accident, likely causing him to veer off of the road. Walters died at the site of the accident shortly after the crash.

Richard D. Rosales, 24, of Naches was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. His passenger Riley Hibbs was taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released. Troopers said Rosales was driving eastbound about 3:30 p.m. when he missed a curve and crossed Old River Road in a Toyota Tacoma. The pickup rolled and struck a house. The crash was blamed on excessive speed; intoxicants were not involved.
