Jacksonville, FLIt was shortly after 3:00 p.m. when Jack Musgrove, 68, was driving on U.S. 1, and somehow pulled into the path of a semi-truck driven by Jerry Harris, 45. Their vehicle was t-boned by the Harris' truck, and Musgrove was killed while his passenger, 67-year-old Cookie Sikes, was hospitalized with minor injuries. Harris was uninjured in the accident.

Jacksonville, FLAt about 2:00pm, a gold sedan crossed the center line on U.S.. 1 and collided head-on with a white prius. The pregnant woman who was driving the gold car, Adriola Spahiu, was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the prius, Robert Amell, was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
