Randy Haynes, 51, of Renton died in the crash, which occurred Sept. 10 at 4:17 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 near milepost 88, close to the Indian John Hill Rest Area and about four miles east of Cle Elum. Dan Peterson ws riding on Speer Boulevard and Lincoln Street at 2:20 a.m. when he was struck by a driver that fled the scene. He passed away several days later with family at his side. Authorities are still searching for the driver that killed him.
