Cleveland-Akron, OHCalvondo Smith had parked his car outside of the Three Star Restaurant and was getting out of the vehice when a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by 28-year-old Jerrad Londo slide out of control and collided with Smith's car. Smith was pinned between the two cars at the time of the impact. Smith sustained serious injuries and was taken to to MetroHealth Medical Center where he is now listed in fair condition. Londo declined to be taken to the hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt, did not have a valid driver's license, and was allegedly showing signs of impairment.

Ft. Wayne, INPolice said Hatch was not wearing a seat belt. Police said the car, driven by Noe Munoz-Rubio, 23, of Orland was traveling east on Indiana 4 when it left the south side of the road, rolled over and struck a tree before coming to rest on its top. Munoz-Rubio, who was wearing his seat belt, was trapped and had to be extricated from the car by Ashley firefighters, police said. He was flown to Parkview Regional Meidcann Center in Fort Wayne with head, neck and facial injuries. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.
