Anchorage, AKElisa L. Johnson was arrested after troopers arrived at the scene of a crash where she had allegedly crashed into a ditch after crossing the on-coming lane of traffic. She was found to be intoxicated at the time of the incident, and her six-week-old baby was in the backseat at the time. She is being held at Mat-Su Pretrial Facility and her bail has been set at $500.

Anchorage, AKFreeman H. Howes is facing charges of child endangerment after he drove his pickup truck off of South Abby Boulevard and hit a telephone junction box with two children under the age of ten in his vehicle. Howes was intoxicated at the time of the incident and did not report the collision after it occured. The accident caused a total of around 6,000 dollars of damage, primarily to Howes' truck. Howes is currently being held at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility on $5,000 bail.
