Los Angeles, CAClaudia Perez, 38, killed in car accident with Luis Tapia, 28, of Sunland, in the 10100 block of Sunland Boulevard in Shadow Hills, CA. Both drivers were speeding when an Infinity, driven by Perez, lost control and hit a telephone pole, rolled and crashed, trapping Perez inside the vehicle. Investigations indicate that Tapia, the driver of a Nissan contributed to the cause of the accident which killed Perez. Tapia was arrested for second degree murder following the accident .

Los Angeles, CA Tristin Marquiz Woods, 17, of Long Beach, was killed in a multi-car accident on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles, CA. A man was seen fleeing on foot after the accident where one individual was ejected from a vehicle and one vehicle was overturned.
