An unidentified 16-year-old girl was driving an SUV to the north on Highway 65 when she began to veer into the shoulder at around 9:25 p.m. She then overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to lose traction and flip. A 14-year-old female passenger was declared dead at the scene, and another passenger, identified as Sean O’Neill, 49, sustained serious injuries including broken bones. The driver had significant cuts to the head, but was otherwise okay.
