Jacksonville, FLLaw enforcement officers are looking for a Nissan Pathfinder involved in a fatal Jacksonville hit-and-run early Monday that killed a scooter rider. Michael Lee Moon, 37, of Jacksonville was riding on Normandy Boulevard east of Stratton Road about 12:35 a.m. when he was hit from behind by a Nissan.

Friday, October 10, 2014John Corbin, a DeLand motorcyclist died Monday after he was injured in a crash with a vehicle at the intersection of Kepler Road and Mimosa Lane at 7 p.m. Friday. Corbin’s Harley was hit by a Honda Civic driven by Richard Shea, 27, also of DeLand. Corbin, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach where he was pronounced deceased on Monday. The crash continues to be investigated and charges are pending.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLAn Inverness teen who was driving an ATV without headlights or a helmet died in a crash in Citrus County on Monday evening.
Florida Highway Patrol investigators say at about 8:39 p.m., 17-year-old Alexander Terraciano was driving the ATV on County Road 581.
A 2003 Honda Civic driven by Barbara Jean Cross, 38, of Hernando, was driving behind Terraciano and hit the back of the ATV.
Terraciano died at the scene of the crash.
No charges were filed in connection with the crash.
