Wednesday, October 29, 2014At about 9:30am, the front left tire on a dump truck driven by Anthony Ross, 49, separated, causing the truck to collide with a barrier wall and eventually come to rest on top of it. Ross was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which also spread debris across the road, closing both directions of SR 408.

Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLWatkins was operating a 31-foot boat when apparently the steering stopped working, causing him to crash into a jetty. He was hospitalized, though his injuries were not life-threatening.
