Gary E. Dixon was driving on Highway 95 when he ran a red light and struck a Honda Accord on the driver's side door. The impact of the collision caused Dixon's car to spin out and strike a Kia Sportage. When all three vehicles came to a stop, they blocked both the north and southbound lanes of Highway 95 and the Honeysuckle Avenue Intersection. The driver of the Accord was taken to Kootenai Health where he died from his injuries. Dixon and the two people in the Sportage were uninjured. The investigation is ongoing.

A man was pulling out of a dairy in Mountain Home just before 7 a.m. Tuesday when his vehicle collided first with a van, the was T-boned by a school bus. The car driver was killed. The bus was from the Mountain Home School district and was carrying six elementary- and junior high-aged students, none of whom were injured. What personal injury victims need to know:

Speth was northbound on 3700 East on Thursday evening, when she did not properly stop or yield at the stop sign at the intersection with US 30, and struck an eastbound pickup. The collision brought both cars off of the road, and Speth's vehicle continued to strike a power pole which sent many powerlines falling down into the roadway. All children were properly restrained during the accident. The survivors, Brittany and Justin were injured and taken to Pocatello Medical Center. Justin, 16 months,  is improving after several days in the hospital.
