Investigators believe that Manuel A. Valencia, 32, was under the influence of alcohol when he turned left from Ritchie Highway onto College Parkway without obeying the traffic signal. It was about 7:30 p.m., and Valencia's car was struck by an SUV driven by Charles Michael Nossick, 56, where it was pushed into and crushed against a traffic pole. Valencia was declared dead at the scene of the crash, while Nossick was pronounced dead shortly after being rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Irvin William Starks, 24, killed after being hit by three vehicles while trying to cross Pennsylvania Avenue and Donnell Drive against the light in Forestville, Maryland

Prince George’s County police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision in Forestville. Police have identified the victim as Irvin William Starks, 24, of District Heights. Authorities believe Starks was struck by three separate vehicles on Saturday evening while crossing the intersection at Pennsylvania Avenue and Donnell Drive. Police say two of the drivers remained at the scene, but one did not. Police believe Starks was crossing near or within a crosswalk but against a no-walking signal.
