On Thursday afternoon, emergency crews were called to the 10000 block of Luttenton Road in Pulaski Township. According to the Jackson County Sheriff's dept, a two-year-old boy was severely injured when a pallet of bagged grain shifted and fell on the little boy while he was riding in a farm wagon. Initial investigation shows that the hitch on the wagon failed, causing the load to shift. The child was rushed to Allegiance Health in Jackson before being airlifted to Motts Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, where he died early Friday.
