Investigators say that a Ford Escape driven by a 23-year-old Alma woman was westbound on Cutler Road east of Amble Road when she lost control, left the roadway, and the SUV rolled on Saturday night. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the SUV during the crash, and when the vehicle came to rest in an upright position, the woman's arm was trapped under one of the tires. A 24-year-old passenger, who was not injured in the crash, was able to drive the SUV off of the driver's arm, after which she was brought to the hospital. Alcohol may have been a factor.
