Biloxi-Gulfport, MSTimothy James Motta allegedly drove a car into the rear of a pharmacy building, and then after realising he couldn't access the pharmacy from there, smashed into the building again so that he could steal medications from the store. He then fled the scene in the same car driving erratically. When the tires of his vehicle went flat, he stole another car which he eventually crashed into the median of Interstate 10, where he was apprehended.

Jackson, MSA vehicle attempted to avoid a roadside safety checkpoint on Highway 35, and when a Mississippi Highway Patrol officer attempted to stop the vehicle, it ran off the roadway and overturned. The driver was apparently a nine-year-old boy and the car was full of children. A 13-year-old male and a 3-year-old male died in the accident. and the driver and a 13-year-old female were transported to a local hospital. When the vehicle went off the road, two of the occupants of the car were ejected.
