New York, NYA construction worker was killed in a 24-story fall down an elevator shaft in midtown Manhattan Tuesday afternoon. The worker was at a building on West 46th Street and Eighth Avenue when he fell. The worker was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The accident is under investigation.
