Police received report of an accident involving a truck and a teenaged boy on a skateboard at about 3:54pm. The boy, identified as Donovan H. Desormeau, 13, was riding his skateboard north on County Route 65 when a northbound truck driven by Howard P. Davis, 45, approached him from behind. Davis said that he attempted to pass Desormeau by going into the southbound lane, but that the teenager went into the southbound lane at the same time and was struck by the vehicle.
