A tractor-trailer rig carrying sour cream among 80,000 pounds of other dairy products overturned on Highway 58 near Oakridge, southeast of Eugene. The truck driver reportedtly failed to negotiate a curve Monday morning and rolled the rig onto its side.  Before the truck could be pulled upright and removed the fuel tanks needed to be pumped and the cargo removed. Police have identified the 81-year-old man who was seriously injured in a crash on Highway 20 near Lebanon Thursday afternoon. Samuel Slaughter of Sweet Home suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a commercial truck pulling a semi trailer and a car. Oregon State Police said at about 1 p.m. a commercial truck pulling a semi-trailer stopped on westbound Highway 20 to wait for train to pass by so the driver could turn into a driveway.
