Mayra Ramirez was driving at around 2:30 a.m. when she was struck by a 17-year-old boy who ran a stop sign at the intersection of 27th Street and Harrison Boulevard. After striking Ramirez's vehicle, the teen's vehicle continued through the intersectino and struck a parked car. Ramirez was listed in serious condition with multiple fractures and head injuries.The boy and an 18-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries as well. Investigators believe the teen was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

A young woman killed in a three-car accident this weekend in Herriman has been identified as 18-year-old Cambrie Cozzens of Riverton. Cozzens was a passenger in a car, driven by a 17-year-old male, that was reported to have run a red light about 1:20 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 5600 West and 13100 South. The Saturn that Cozzens was riding in then crashed with a westbound Ford Bronco. The crash propelled the Saturn into a Dodge Charger waiting at the light. A 17-year-old girl was seriously injured Tuesday morning when she collided with the rear end of a school bus on foggy Highway 89/91 in Cache County. Logan police said the accident report came in at 7:37 a.m. from the area of 800 West and 1700 South. A girl was driving an Oldsmobile Alero westbound on 800 West and because of dense fog did not see the stop sign at the road’s intersection with the highway. She went into the intersection and collided with the rear of the bus, which was carrying more than a dozen children to Adams Elementary School in Logan, police said.
