Houston, TXInvestigators say that school bus driver Bryan Stachey suffered a medical emergency and lost conciousness before crashing a school bus into a home at the corner of Coleman Boylan Drive and Water Oak Drive at about 7:30 a.m. An 11-year-old student was in the bus at the time and sustained some minor head injuries, but managed to climb out of the bus and walk home; he was later brought to a hospital for evaluation after his mother was notified. A teacher's aide also sustained some minor injuries, and was the only other person on the bus.

Chicago, ILPolice say a woman was trying to commit suicide by intentionally crashing into two cars Tuesday with her baby strapped into a car seat in her SUV.
Elizabeth Kruger, 28, of Evergreen Park is charged with one count of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated battery, one count of aggravated fleeing and eluding, one count of leaving the Scene of a personal injury accident, one count of endangering the life of a child and several more traffic offenses.
Police say Kruger purposely crashed her BMW SUV into a car at 79th Street and New England in Burbank, and drove away.
